Karate Kid

Ages 9-12

Fitness Class

Our Fitness Class is designed to help you build strength, endurance, and confidence in a motivating group environment. Whether your goal is to improve overall health, increase energy, or complement your martial arts training, this class delivers a full-body workout that pushes you to be your best.

In this class, participants will:

Kobudo

Kobudo is the traditional art of Okinawan weapons, taught as an extension of martial arts training. At Buckner Martial Arts, students learn how to handle classical weapons such as the bo, sai, tonfa, and nunchaku with precision, discipline, and respect for tradition.

In this program, students will:

  • Practice fundamental techniques, kata, and weapon handling skills

  • Develop coordination, focus, and body control through structured training

  • Build confidence while learning the discipline and history behind each weapon

  • Strengthen their overall karate by enhancing timing, distance, and control

Karate Tots

Ages 4-6

Our Karate Tots program is specially designed for young children to build a strong foundation in focus, balance, coordination, and confidence—all while having fun.

In each class, your child will:

Filipino Martial Arts Tabonda Balintawak Arnis Cuentada

Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) are renowned worldwide for their efficiency, speed, and practicality. At Buckner Martial Arts, we proudly offer training in Tabonda Balintawak Arnis Cuentada, a dynamic system of stick and blade fighting that develops reflexes, timing, and precision.

In this program, students will:

  • Learn traditional Arnis single-stick and double-stick techniques

  • Develop close-range fighting skills through drills and counter techniques (cuentada)
