Stephen M. Buckner

Founder, Master Instructor

Mr. Buckner has been studying the Martial Arts since 1969. He has trained with some of the world's greatest masters to further his knowledge and experience. Mr. Buckner has been recognized nationally and internationally as one of the top Karate instructors in the United states. His technical knowledge and proficiency gained him a position on the U.S.A. Karate coaching staff and induction into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

Mr. Buckner also served as a Police Officer for West Chester, Ohio Police Department. As a State of Ohio Certified Police Defensive Tactics Instructor, Mr Buckner has instructed Police Officers throughout the state. Mr. Buckner was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the U.S.A. National Karate-Do Federation, the National Governing Body for sport Karate under the United States Olympic Committee, and served as Vice President for 8 years.

Mr. Buckner instructs the Martial Arts of Shito Ryu Karate and Kenshin Ryu Kobudo. These authentic and traditional Martial Arts were taught to him by world renowned Grand Master Terou Hayashi of Osaka, Japan.
