Personal Development
When you compare Buckner Martial Arts to any other school, you will quickly find that we are ahead of the field. Our carefully structured programs go a lot further than just punching and kicking. As professional martial arts instructors, we feel that it is our duty not only to help our students to develop self-defense skills, but also to provide a complete program of personal development to enhance the students quality of life.
Life Skills and Leadership Program
Each month our program will focus on a specific aspect of martial arts training.
Newsletter
In addition to our "Life Skills and Leadership" program, you will find our school's newsletter a wealth of information on a wide range of subjects. Each issue is packed with informative articles on health, safety, fitness, nutrition, plus, of course, all the exciting events taking place in the school.
Achievement Program
Another unique feature of our Buckner Martial Arts school is the Achievement Program. Parent Workshops
From time to time Buckner Martial Arts conducts parent workshops. These gatherings of parents and instructors are an opportunity for discussion, sometimes on matters of a general nature and sometimes on specific topics. These are not limited, and include subjects like positive reinforcement, goal setting, instilling success, establishing respect and other areas of concern to every parent. They are also a chance to meet other parents in completely informal surroundings. All of us. parents and staff, find these get-togethers to be helpful, informative and productive in terms of bringing even more value to your child's martial arts experience. We hope you will make every effort to attend whenever you are able.
